La Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN) avanza a paso firme en su programa de modernización y prevé cerrar el año con un 68 % de ejecución presupuestal, lo que equivale a 168 millones de dólares destinados a transformar la gestión tributaria, aduanera y cambiaria del país.
La meta representa un salto significativo frente al 37 % alcanzado a diciembre de 2024, cuando se habían comprometido 94 millones de dólares. Para este año, la entidad planea invertir 74 millones adicionales, con el fin de acelerar la implementación de nuevos sistemas de información y modelos de gestión que buscan cambiar el rostro de la administración fiscal.
“El avance proyectado para este año no es solo una meta financiera; es la base para modernizar nuestras operaciones, optimizar el servicio al contribuyente y garantizar un sistema tributario y aduanero más eficiente y seguro”, afirmó Pedro José Arrieta Meléndrez, director Corporativo de la DIAN.
Entre los hitos previstos para 2025 destacan adjudicaciones clave y desembolsos orientados a poner en marcha sistemas misionales y de apoyo, así como nuevos modelos para la fiscalización tributaria, atención a omisos e inexactos, declaraciones sugeridas y el fortalecimiento de la factura electrónica y otros documentos digitales.
El programa de modernización, con un presupuesto total de 250 millones de dólares y un plazo de ejecución ampliado hasta diciembre de 2028, también contempla robustecer la seguridad de la información y optimizar la infraestructura tecnológica para garantizar un mayor control y transparencia en las operaciones.
Con esta inversión, la DIAN busca posicionarse como una entidad más ágil, segura y cercana al ciudadano, en línea con las mejores prácticas internacionales en gestión tributaria y aduanera.
